Repeating blips have a morphology similar to blips, but they repeat on regular intervals. They usually repeat every 0.25 or 0.5 seconds, but sometimes repeat with other cadences.
Cause:
On one occasion in March 2017 during the second observing run (O2), Repeating Blips were caused by a malfunction of the 45 MHz modulation subsystem. Other causes may have been at work at other times.
Status:
The very regular repeating blips have not been seen again during the third (O3) and fourth (O4) observing runs. Blips repeating at irregular intervals may possibly belong in other classes.
