The Advanced LIGO Output Mode Cleaner (OMC) is a suspended glass optical cavity that filters radio-frequency optical sidebands and higher-order modes in the interferometer's output beam. The cavity optics, peripheral optics, suspension interface, signal readout diodes, and electrical connection interface are all fabricated on a single fused silica glass breadboard. When the main interferometer is turned on, the OMC is expected to be resonant solely to the fundamental mode of the carrier light through length feedback control of the OMC PZTs, and incident beam alignment is optimized through angle feedback control of the OMC Tiptilt mirrors and the OMC suspension.
